Welcome to DesignToCodeAI (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the DesignToCodeAI website, AI-powered code generation tools, point system, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

1.1 Eligibility – You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

1.2 Permitted Use – You may upload valid design files (PNG, JPG, max 20MB), input a publicly accessible Figma or Website URL, or submit a text-based design prompt (e.g., “SaaS landing page with pricing table”) to generate production-ready HTML/CSS/JS or Elementor JSON using our AI.

1.3 Prohibited Use – You may not:

Upload content you do not have the rights to.
Use the Service for illegal, harmful, or fraudulent activities.
Reverse-engineer or interfere with our AI systems or platform.

2. Account & Points System

2.1 Account Creation – A valid email is required to create an account and access features such as point tracking and design/code history.

2.2 Points Overview – Our code generation system operates on Power Points:

Points can be purchased via Starter, Pro, or Power packs.
You may also receive points from promotions (e.g., 400 free on signup) or referrals.

2.3 Usage – Points are consumed when you initiate code generation. More complex iterations may cost additional points.

2.4 Non-Expiring – Points do not expire but are non-transferable and tied to your account.

2.5 Refunds – You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase, only if no points from that pack have been used. See our Privacy Policy for further details.

3. AI Code Generation

3.1 No Storage – We do not store uploaded design image files, Website or Figma-linked content, text prompts, or generated code. All content is processed in memory and cleared upon refresh, session end, or after 24 hours.

3.2 Accuracy – While we aim for high accuracy, output from design files, Figma, or prompt-based requests may still require manual refinement. Use Iterations or Additional Instructions for improvements.

3.3 No Suitability Guarantee – Generated code may not meet all design, compatibility, or performance needs. You are responsible for final implementation and testing.

3.4 Prompt Use Responsibility – You are responsible for the content of prompts, design uploads, and links (e.g., Figma or Website URLs) you submit. Do not input copyrighted, sensitive, or confidential content you do not have rights to.

3.5 Third-Party Website URL Usage – If you use the Website URL input feature to generate code based on a third-party website, you are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the generated output complies with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. This feature is intended only for personal, educational, or internal use.
You may not publish, distribute, or commercially exploit the output unless you have verified that doing so does not infringe on any third-party rights. We do not store input URLs or generated code.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Your Uploads – You retain ownership of your design files. You grant us a temporary license to process them solely for code generation.

4.2 Generated Code – You own the generated output and may use it commercially, subject to third-party license compliance (e.g., Tailwind CSS).

4.3 Platform Content – All proprietary code, models, branding, and interface designs of DesignToCodeAI remain our exclusive property.

5. Referral Program

5.1 Referral Rewards – You may earn 500 points per referral, up to a 550-point total, when referred users complete a successful registration.

5.2 Abuse – Fraudulent referrals (e.g., self-referrals or bots) may result in account suspension and forfeiture of all referral points.

6. Account Termination

6.1 User-Initiated – You may delete your account at any time. All associated points and referral stats will be permanently lost.

6.2 Platform-Initiated – We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations or abuse of the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages—including code errors or data loss—arising from use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting on this page. For material updates, we may provide prior notice via email or on-site notification. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
