Vertical Painting Scenery Flowers Field Sunflower Size:28"x40" the quiet after a passing

the quiet after a passing summer shower

The fiery reds and dusky blues work handsomely against soft grey or warm white walls dressed with light timber and a few simple ceramics

their ruffled petals rendered in cool whites tinged with the faintest lilac and grey

A quiet portrait of one tree holding its colour against the coming winter

this piece brings the optimism of the tropics indoors

Broad green leaves curl at the base of the stem, while smaller blooms cluster around the central flower. The image
