Otis Redding – Very Best of (CD) Vinyl_maggieRose Fugitive's Dream (3:52)Otis Redding never got to see "(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay" top the charts. He died in a plane crash on December 10, 1967, just three days after recording it, making his posthumous number one hit one of the most heartbreaking ironies in American music. What you hear across these 16 tracks is a voice that compressed an entire lifetime of feeling into a career that lasted barely six years. Nothin' but essential soul smashes! Includes (Sittin' on)
