Dalgety Homestead beam Dust settles on empty roomsVerandah timbers rot, paint lifting from weatherboard walls, at a homestead in rural New South Wales that once sheltered a family through seasons of work and weather. The structure sits open to the elements now, its rooms emptied of everything except the silence left behind when the last occupant walked out. Part of the A Place to Call Home series.
