DOC2A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, 100ul Human Genome Knockout Libraries This gene encodes ketohexokinase that

This gene encodes ketohexokinase that catalyzes conversion of fructose to fructose-1-phosphate

They are associated with pre-mRNAs in the nucleus and appear to influence pre-mRNA processing and other aspects of mRNA metabolism and transport

They are composed of one alpha and two beta subunits

Alpha-2-macroglobulin is a protease inhibitor and cytokine transporter

DOC2A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody, 100ul Human Genome Knockout Libraries This gene encodes ketohexokinase thatThere are at least two protein isoforms of the Double C2 protein namely alpha (DOC2A) and beta (DOC2B) which contain two C2 like domains. DOC2A and DOC2B are encoded by different genes; these genes are at times confused with the unrelated DAB2 gene which was initially named DOC 2. DOC2A is mainly expressed in brain and is suggested to be involved in Ca(2+) dependent neurotransmitter release. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
